Dubai Land Department (DLD) has kick-started the first virtual edition of the International Property Show (IPS) by associating with Invest in Dubai Real Estate (IIDRE) an innovative platform by the emirates to attract global investors.
The 10-day virtual edition of IPS was inaugurated under the presence of high-ranking authorities of DLD including Sultan Butti bin Mejren (Director General of DLD), Marwan bin Ghalita (CEO of the Real Estate Regulatory Agency), Majda Ali Rashid (CEO of the Real Estate Promotion and Investment Management Sector at DLD) and Juma bin Humaidan (Deputy Director-General of DLD).
During the event, DLD will reveal the achievements of the real estate sector in the emirates in the 2020 Annual Report giving a wider outlook of the market performance and highlight the emirate’s position as a global investment destination. The digital edition of IPS is expected to create new records as it welcomes thousands of participants from all over the world.
“Through IPS, we will fully realize our mission of positioning Dubai at the forefront of the world, enabling us to showcase the world-class features of the emirate to people from all over the globe as they connect in one secure virtual platform. Indeed, this event is a source of pride for us in Dubai and the UAE.”
DLD will also promote its first real estate smart application through the event. The platform, Dubai REST which provides the investors and owners a provision to make real estate transactions through an integrated set of digital steps which reduces paperwork, supporting the emirate’s green initiative and the trend towards a paperless government.
IPS, along with IIDRE, will benefit both the exhibitors as well as visitors to expand, diversify and strengthen their business by using the latest technology.
“In just a short period of time, we were able to create a significant milestone in the events industry by organizing the real estate industry’s largest virtual gathering that will benefit not just Dubai, but the whole world,” the Head of the Organising Committee of IPS and IIDRE, Dawood Al Shezawi, stated.
