Qatar Financial Centre (QFC) is gearing up to host the 20th Corporate Registers Forum 2024, scheduled from November 4 – 7, 2024, at the Le Royal Méridien Doha, Qatar.
This year’s conference marks new chapter in the history of Qatar, highlighting the country’s crucial role in the global business community.
The CRF Conference, an annual event hosted in a different country every year, is expected to gather participants from around the world. The event provides a platform for registries to keep pace with the latest developments in corporate business registers, exchange knowledge and insights, and engage with peers.
The conference will revolve around the theme “Innovative Registries – Business Enablers of the Future,” exploring the key role of registries in promoting business growth and adaptation amid rapidly evolving economic and technological landscapes.

Key topics of the conference are: The integration of Distributed Ledger Technology and Artificial Intelligence in business registries, compliance with FATF recommendations, and strategies for combating economic crimes using corporate vehicles.
A dedicated day on ‘Beneficial Ownership’ will be the main attraction, featuring a meeting of the CRF’s Global Beneficial Ownership Working Group, as well as sessions on anti-money laundering and related subjects.
Additionally, the conference will set the stage for the 2024 annual CRF General Meeting and present the findings of CRF’s survey on “Business Registry Insights on Trends in Penalties Across the Globe”.
The event will address other key subjects relevant to corporate registries. This includes corporate re-domiciliation, corporate insolvency, challenges in the tokenization of shares and assets, regulation of company service providers, and de-registrations without a liquidator.
