Leading business awards organizer The Stevie Awards Inc has declared that Dubai Health Authority and Boehringer Ingelheim of Turkey will bag the top prizes in the first annual Middle East Stevie Awards listed to be held virtually on August 25.
Ras Al Khaimah Chamber of Commerce & Industry backed The Middle East Stevie Awards is an international business awards contest accessible to all organizations in 17 countries in the Mena region.
More than 500 submissions were examined this year in the judging process by more than 70 professionals, whose average ratings defined the Gold, Silver, and Bronze Stevie Award winners published earlier this year.
Two more accolades other than the Gold, Silver and Bronze Stevie Awards, which were declared in February are decided. The top winner overall (total number of points awarded by total Gold, Silver and Bronze Stevie win) and the highest-scoring submission obtains the Grand Stevie Award trophies.
A family-owned company from Turkey Boehringer Ingelheim is regarded as one of the pharmaceutical industry’s top 20 corporations. Boehringer Ingelheim will win the Grand Stevie for Organization of the Year with 23.5 award points, received for six Gold, two Silver, and one Bronze Stevie Award wins.
The nomination of Dubai Health Authority for diagnostic and prognostic liquid biopsy biomarkers for asthma was granted the Gold Stevie Award for Innovation in Medical or Dental, and because it earned the highest overall average score from the judges, of all submissions presented in the 2020 competition, will also win the Grand Stevie Award for Highest-Rated Nomination of the Year.
Four Gold and one Silver Stevies were earned by Dubai Health Authority for their Smart Home Care and Smart Health Professional licensing initiatives, as well as their innovative approaches to early detection, diagnoses and medications for asthma, sepsis, and childhood developmental disabilities.
An official statement stated that the Registration for the virtual award ceremony is now open.
