Commercial Bank (CB), a leader in innovative digital banking in Qatar, has launched the new Mastercard multicurrency travel prepaid cards in partnership with leading exchange houses in Qatar.
The cards are available at all Al Fardan Exchange branches, Al Zaman Exchange, Gulf Exchange, Al Dar Exchange and City Exchange.
Customers can add foreign currency (USD, GBP, EUR, CAD, AUD, QAR) on a reloadable prepaid travel card that provides a more convenient and secure way of paying with foreign currency than carrying cash when traveling. This card can be used at any point of sale (POS), eCommerce platform and ATM locally and internationally, wherever Mastercard is accepted.
The Card is designed to bring ultimate convenience and peace of mind to customers while traveling, It is linked to a dedicated mobile app, which provides cardholders with real-time access to their spending balances and transaction history.
The app also offers the functionality to instantly switch funds between available currencies or immediately block the card if lost or stolen. The card can be reloaded at any of the participating exchange house branches in Qatar, making it ideal for all travelers.
