Hict, a Belgian healthcare consultancy has opened its new, privately-owned, regional headquarters in Riyadh for direct operations in the Middle East (ME).
Earlier in January 2021, Hict was one of the first international companies to sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Investment (MISA).
Hict is a fully independent global player in the healthcare consulting market, providing specialized solutions and services to clients in Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and North America.
This MoU allowed Hict to open a regional headquarter for the Middle East in the city of Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The office in Riyadh is an excellent staging ground to bring years of experience and dedication to optimizing healthcare to the Middle East.
Hict has worked in the MENA region for over a decade, performing a wide range of healthcare projects involving strategy and process improvement for healthcare providers, suppliers, and government agencies. It also provides specialized experience in change management and capacity planning. Also, Hict’s unique value proposition brings the blending of Western-European expertise with local consultants and staff to the Middle Eastern healthcare markets.
“Our goal is to participate in the ambitious healthcare transformation programs expressed in the Vision 2030 of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. We aim to achieve this using the deep international skills of a ‘boutique healthcare consulting firm’ combined with the local translation and implementation by our growing Hict team in Riyadh.”
The consultancy intends to collaborate with a number of Middle Eastern healthcare companies to support the expansion. The goal is to strengthen ties with local partners and expand these collaborations. This will be made possible through regional offices in Riyadh, which will work closely with Hict’s main headquarters in Belgium.
Hict has worked with Ascend Healthcare to assist the Ministry of Health (MoH) in developing and implementing the COVID-19 vaccination campaign throughout the kingdom. Hict and Ascend supplied international subject matter experts and project management during the campaign.
