BankDhofar, the premier financial institution in Oman, has opened its new branch in the Wilayat of Thumrait, located in Dhofar Governorate.
The inauguration ceremony was held under the patronage of H.E. Sheikh Ahmed bin Hamad Al Maawali, Wali of Thumrait. Through this expansion, the bank seeks not only to enhance customer experience and strengthen relationship with them, but also to support the government initiatives to achieve the objectives of Oman Vision 2040.
The vision aims to create job opportunities in private sector for citizens with high capabilities and competencies, in addition to providing financial support to small and medium enterprises to help them drive growth.
By opening this branch, BankDhofar will provide its services to a wide range of customers including children, youth, ladies and minors, holders of Al-Rifaa and Al Riadah cards, tourists and visitors. The location of the branch is an attractive tourist destination with its striking heritage components and the frankincense tree.
Additionally, the branch serves customers coming to Dhofar Governorate, especially in the fall season, due to its strategic location on the main roads that connect the coastal states to various other governorates.
With this new branch, the number of branches of BankDhofar and Dhofar Islamic Bank expand to 127 branches, spanning across the governorates of the Sultanate of Oman.
