Bahrain-based global asset manager company Investcorp has acquired a majority stake in the US technology company KSM Consulting (KSMC) from Renovus Capital Partners, through an affiliate.
The terms of the deal were not revealed yet. Further, a minority stake in the company will continue to be held by Renovus, according to the company.
Established in 2008, KSMC delivers smart, custom solutions to the most complex challenges of more than 700 private and public sector companies. This is done with in-depth expertise in data analytics, technology, and digital conversion.
The relationship between Investcorp and KSMC will concentrate on continuing the organic growth of the organization, growing geographically across the United States, and expanding the service offerings of KSMC into strategic communities. This will further include seeking to complete strategic, value-creating add-on acquisitions, building upon KSMC’s recent acquisitions of Colorado-based Tempus Nova, Ohio-based Advocate Solutions, and Indianapolis-based Connect Think.
“Investcorp’s resources and expertise will enable us to continue expanding the reach of our difference-making work and will position us for accelerated growth as we continue to prioritize providing service excellence and driving positive outcomes to our clients. We are excited by the long-term benefits this partnership will unlock for our team, clients, and communities.”
“The past year highlighted the importance of embracing technology for all organizations, regardless of size, sector, or industry. We believe that in addition to the industry’s attractive secular tailwinds, KSMC’s people, values, and culture set the Firm apart in a highly fragmented market, and we are excited to be partnering with them,” stated Tarek AlMahjoub, Head of UAE and Oman for Investcorp’s Private Wealth.
