Bahrain Network (BNET), the region’s national broadband framework, held its first workshop of 2022 to launch its revised corporate strategy, based on the principle “One Team, One Vision”.
The primary objective of the Strategy Workshop, which was attended by BNET CEO Mr. Ahmed Aldoseri and top management, was to drive operational excellence by stimulating innovation and optimization, driven by an inspired team.
BNET’s revamped strategy was presented at the workshop, which included a new vision and mission as well as better company goals. The renewal of the BNET strategy aims to support Bahrain’s vision of becoming a “Smart Kingdom” with a reliable and secure fiber infrastructure.
The strategy workshop followed an open discussion format, with all business units sharing their strategies. This approach aimed to establish a set of comprehensive and optimized goals and an integrated executive plan that the entire company works to achieve as one team over the next three years.
“Through this Strategy workshop, BNET aims to ensure our internal business units’ strategies align with our stakeholders’ expectations, following a customer-centric approach. We aim to ensure smooth customer experiences, added value and a positive impact in our community.”
BNET’s operations are governed by the Kingdom’s telecommunication policy and directions through the Telecommunications Regulatory Authority (TRA). Formerly a part of Bahrain’s Telecommunication Company (Batelco), BNET separated from Batelco and was launched in October 2019, becoming the sole developer for Fiber infrastructure in Bahrain.
In November 2021, BNET announced the launch and implementation of its new portability process for broadband Internet to achieve its strategic goals, which ensures the Kingdom’s Telecommunication sector’s competitiveness and market adaptability through facilitating and encouraging fair competition among local operators.
