Kuwait’s Alshaya Group unveils ‘Alshaya Media Connect’

Alshaya Group, Kuwait’s multinational retail franchise operator, has launched its omnichannel retail media network ‘Alshaya Media Connect’ (AMC).

Alshaya Media Connect is set to transform the retail media advertising industry by offering cutting-edge solutions and leveraging first-party data insights from Alshaya’s 70 franchise partners.

With diverse categories spanning Fashion & Footwear, Home Furnishing, Beauty, and Food, Alshaya operates over 4,000 stores and more than 125 online and digital businesses across the region. The new network is also integrated with Aura, Alshaya’s globally recognized loyalty program, which has 8.3 million members across Bahrain, Qatar, KSA, Kuwait, and UAE.

By partnering with a range of media agencies and technology companies, AMC uses insights from vast customer touch points, enabling advertisers to run targeted campaigns at scale to reach new and potential customers across onsite and offsite channels. AMC’s enhanced capabilities will help brands utilize the Group’s extensive network of in-store screens, ensuring a seamless omnichannel experience.

Alshaya Group has also teamed with Epsilon, an advertising and marketing technology company that is part of Publicis Groupe, to enhance its capabilities in offsite campaigns. This will commence in the UAE and KSA. The partnership will enable endemic and non-endemic advertisers to connect with target audiences through programmatic advertising.

Alshaya Media Connect also plans to expand its presence in Kuwait and Qatar. The expansion will provide more brands with access to valuable data insights across the region. The brands will soon be able to connect with Alshaya customers through social media, search, digital platforms and in-store.
