ADNOC Group to host ‘ADIPEC 2024’ from November 4-7

ADNOC Group, the UAE’s premier oil company, is set to host ADIPEC 2024, under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE.

ADIPEC 2024, scheduled from November 4-7, will take place in ADNEC Centre Abu Dhabi, with over 184,000 attendees, more than 1,800 leading innovators, experts and visionaries from energy, artificial intelligence (AI) and other technologies.

The 40th edition aims to explore the pivotal role of AI and finance in boosting the global energy transition. The event will also include three new conferences with new voices from finance, technology, youth and the Global South to promote a sustainable and inclusive energy future.

“AI needs energy and energy needs AI. This AI-energy nexus will be a major focus of ADIPEC’s milestone 40th edition. Bringing global leaders and innovators together, we will discuss AI’s potential to transform economies and industries, particularly its role in accelerating a just, orderly and equitable energy transition.”

The ADIPEC Strategic Conference agenda brings together the world’s top voices to share insights on the role of technological innovation in accelerating energy transition while also stressing the significance of cross-sector partnerships to boost decarbonization.

Christopher Hudson, President of dmg events, stated that, “Marking 40 years since its inception, ADIPEC 2024 will be the most ambitious edition yet. The international community and global energy ecosystem will unite there around the need for decisive action to secure net zero. Featuring innovative technologies, valuable insights and influential voices, the event will deliver a renewed global commitment to creating a secure, equitable and sustainable energy future for all.”

The agenda will also focus on the Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) and carbon capture, utilization and storage (CCUS), while also exploring how the adoption of technologies can be scaled up in a sustainable and equitable manner.

ADNOC will launch an inaugural exhibition called Energyai (Energy to the power of AI). This is set to spotlight the AI’s influence on the energy value chain as well as its impending demand on global energy systems.

The Finance and Investment Conference is another key attraction of ADIPEC 2024. The conference will provide a platform for leaders from the government, finance and energy sectors to explore the disparity between capital flows and the investment necessary for fair and equitable transition.

Voices of Tomorrow is a new conference which seeks to connect the Global North and South. The ADIPEC Leadership Roundtables will also shed light on AI. The exclusive, invitation-only closed-door discussions will delve into the connection between AI and energy, focusing on how AI can accelerate the pace toward future-ready energy system.

Alongside the 10 conferences, the ADIPEC Exhibition, spanning 16 halls, will gather over 2,200 exhibitors from the energy ecosystem together to showcase the latest advancements transforming the energy sector.
