Hub71, Abu Dhabi’s pioneering global tech ecosystem, has welcomed 21 startups in Cohort 15, expanding the number of ventures to 243.
The startups in Cohort 15 have collectively raised $134.9 million in funding, which highlights Hub71’s role in driving technological innovation across Abu Dhabi’s priority sectors. After a rigors selection process, the successful startups will join Hub71’s Access program and the specialist ecosystems of Hub71+ Digital Assets and Hub71+ ClimateTech.
Cohort 15 was chosen from over 1228 applications, consisting of 17 startups launched in international markets, including the USA, United Kingdom, France, and Germany. Notable startups set to enter Hub71’s Access program include EpiBone, a HealthTech company based in US, with $43 million (AED 158 million) in funding.
By raising $26 million (AED 98 million) in funding, Partanna Oasis, a material science company co-founded by NBA legend Rick Fox, is set to join Hub71+ ClimateTech. Additionally, with $10 million (AED 36 million) in funding, the UK-based Greengage is set to enter the Hub71+ Digital Assets specialist ecosystem.
By joining Hub71, these startups are commencing operations in Abu Dhabi, reinforcing the UAE’s position as a pioneering global tech hub and a preferred destination for entrepreneurial growth.

The selected startups operate in seven sectors, including FinTech, ClimateTech, HealthTech, EdTech, and Mobility & Logistics, and will play a key role in driving growth in Abu Dhabi’s sustainable economy. Autone, a leading logistics company based in the US, has secured $4.8 million (AED 17 million) in funding, and is set to join the Access program.
Seven startups in the cohort will join Hub71+ ClimateTech, where they can enjoy access to tailored resources and support packages designed to achieve sustainable growth. With the latest cohort, Hub71+ ClimateTech comprises 12 startups, all set to accelerate the pace towards the nation’s net-zero and sustainability ambitions.
Plenesys, a France-based company that creates innovative solutions for clean hydrogen without CO2 emissions, has secured $3 million (AED 11 million) in funding. Meanwhile, five startups are set to join Hub71+ Digital Assets, a specialist ecosystem focused on unlocking the potential of Web3 and digital assets. This expands the number of startups in the specialist ecosystem to 22.
Norway-based Gateway.fm, a distributed blockchain infrastructure that automates and provides enterprises with turnkey solutions for deploying private blockchains and infrastructure, has raised $6 million (AED 22 million).
Hub71 “Access” and Hub71+ specialist ecosystems will provide startups with access to market opportunities, top talent, and capital, by setting a thriving community of mentors, partners, and investors within Abu Dhabi’s technology ecosystem, enabling them to enhance their prospects of securing commercial deals, attracting investment, and driving market growth.
