Abu Dhabi Crown Prince to begin 1st Indian visit on Sep 9-10

H.H. Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, is to begin an official visit to India, during which he will meet the Prime Minister of the Republic of India, Narendra Modi, in New Delhi.

During the visit, H.H. will engage in discussions with senior Indian officials to explore opportunities to further strengthen cooperation across key economic sectors, building on the significant milestones already achieved for the mutual benefit of both countries and their people.

Sheikh Khaled will be accompanied by a high-level delegation, including ministers, senior officials, business leaders, and prominent economic partners from the UAE.

H.H. will also attend several activations that reflect the economic and cultural bonds shared by the UAE and India.

At the invitation of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi will pay an official visit to India on 9-10 September 2024. This would be the first visit of His Highness to India as the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi.

On 9 September, His Highness will meet Prime Minister and hold discussions on a wide range of areas of bilateral cooperation. Sheikh Al Nahyan is also scheduled to call on the President of India and will also visit Rajghat to pay tribute to Mahatma Gandhi.

On 10 September, the last day of the visit, His Highness will visit Mumbai to participate in a Business Forum, in which business leaders from both countries will participate.

India and UAE share historically close and friendly ties. In recent years, the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership between India and UAE has deepened in a wide range of areas including political, trade, investment, connectivity, energy, technology, education, and culture. The Crown Prince’s visit will further reinforce strong India-UAE bilateral relations and open avenues for partnership in new and emerging areas.
