Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and Ms. Zuzana Čaputová, President of Slovakia, have discussed bilateral ties between the two countries and ways of boosting them in various segments.
The meeting took place at Al Shati Palace, and both countries talked about regional and international issues of mutual concern.
The meeting also addressed recent developments in light of the latest Houthi attacks on civilian facilities in the UAE, which threaten local and international security. Ms. Čaputová condemned the attacks, all forms of Terrorism by the House and threats to local security and stability.
At the beginning of the meeting, HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed welcomed Ms.Čaputová and greeted President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed al-Nahyan and wished Slovakia more development and prosperity.
The meeting also addressed Slovakia’s participation in Expo 2020 Dubai and highlighted the event’s importance in promoting cooperation between countries, cultures, and communities, to ensure a better future for everyone. The Crown Prince added that Slovakia’s participation in Expo 2020 Dubai is a valuable addition to the most important cultural event that showcases innovation and achievements in all areas.
The Slovakian President expressed gratitude at visiting the UAE and thanked HH Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed for the warm welcome and articulated her keenness to enhance relations between the two friendly countries.
The meeting was also attended by H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Tahnoun Al Nahyan, Special Affairs Advisor at the Ministry of Presidential Affairs.
