The Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Turkey’s ULUSKON, International Investment and Business Confederation, have discussed the establishment of a trade and investment partnership between the two institutions.
Discussions on strengthening trade ties took place during a meeting between Abu Dhabi Chamber Director General HE Mohamed Helal Al Mheiri and ULUSKON President Ms. Nezaket Emine Atasoy at the Chamber Tower in Abu Dhabi.
HE Al Mheiri praised ULUSKON’s role in improving Turkish investment around the world, especially in international trade, expressing great hope in enhancing trade and joint investment between Abu Dhabi and Turkey.
The Director-General highlighted the services rendered by the Abu Dhabi Chamber to its members and its contribution to the support of businesses in Abu Dhabi and the realization of the Emirate’s economic vision.
The two sides discussed the most suitable ways to introduce UAE businesses to their Turkish counterparts and how to forge new partnerships between businesses operating in key sectors, including energy, construction, agriculture, defense, textile and medical equipment, pharmaceuticals, and logistics.
For her part, ULUSKON President Ms. Atasoy expressed delight over her visit to the Abu Dhabi Chamber, stressing her organization’s willingness to extend new bridges of cooperation with Abu Dhabi, and looking forward to strengthening international relations by adding a new relationship with the business community in Abu Dhabi, becoming one of the most attractive destinations for businesses and making great strides at all levels.
ULUSKON, International Investment and Business Confederation, is established to realize international business agreements within the framework of the International Business World.
The body attracts foreign investors to Turkey to contribute to the country’s economy and creates agreements that will allow business people to invest abroad. ULUSKON also creates the necessary financing to achieve the country’s business goals, according to the economic and political conditions of the country.
