HE Mohammed Thani Murshid Al Rumaithi, Chairman of both the Federation of the UAE Chambers of Commerce and Industry and Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry, has discussed means of strengthening economic and trade cooperation with HE Dr. Ahmed bin Hilal bin Saud Al-Busaidi, Ambassador of Oman to the UAE.
HE Mohamed Helal Al Mheiri, Director General of Abu Dhabi Chamber, has also attended the discussion along with his deputy Mr. Abdullah Ghurair Al Qubaisi.
HE Al Rumaithi has congratulated Dr. Al-Busaidi for his new position as the newly appointed Ambassador of Oman to the UAE, and highlighted the strong relationship between the UAE and Oman on all levels, emphasizing the historical stands and shared visions between the two countries, which are backed by wise leadership.
“The visit of the Omani Ambassador would help further develop the economic and trade cooperation between the two sides, stressing the readiness of the Abu Dhabi Chamber to provide all the necessary support to promote the economic and investment cooperation between them. He added that both sides need to double their efforts to introduce Emirati and Omani businesses to the available investment opportunities in both countries.”
Ambassador Dr. Al-Busaidi has appreciated Chamber’s willingness to provide all the resources needed to advance economic cooperation between Omani and Emirati businesses, noting that such resources would help achieve shared goals and interests.
For his part, HE Al Mheiri gave a brief overview of the Abu Dhabi Chamber’s various services, emphasizing its extensive network of relationships and role in bringing foreign investors and business people together with the Abu Dhabi business community.
Furthermore, he has noted the numerous benefits that Abu Dhabi’s excellent business environment provides for foreign investors, claiming that it is the ideal investment destination in many global competitiveness indices.
