The Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce & Industry’s (ADCCI) Chairman Mr. Abdullah Mohamed Al Mazrouei has discussed the possibilities of strengthening business relations with the Ambassador of Algeria to the UAE, Mr. Khemissi Arif.
Mr. Al Mazrouei received Mr. Arif and the accompanying delegation at the Chamber’s headquarters in Abu Dhabi, in the presence of Mr. Mohamed Helal Al Mheiri, Director-General of Abu Dhabi Chamber.
During the meeting, the Chairman welcomed the newly appointed ambassador and wished him all the best in performing his responsibilities in strengthening relationships between the UAE and Algeria.
According to the statement, the two parties discussed the best ways to increase cooperation and trade between firms in Abu Dhabi and Algeria in order to improve the possibilities of their joint investments.
Mr. Al Mazrouei briefed the Algerian Ambassador on the Chamber’s services and its innovative initiatives to support businesses in Abu Dhabi.
“The Emirate provides a conducive environment for startups and an advanced investment climate for investors, making it an ideal destination for Algerian investments and a great gateway for Algerian exports to Asian markets,” the Chairman added.
Further, Mr. Al Mazrouei emphasized the eagerness of the Abu Dhabi Chamber to expand its trade and investment cooperation with Algeria in order to better serve Emirati and Algerian businesses as well as investors.
For his part, Mr. Arif highlighted the UAE’s leadership position in the region and worldwide, as well as the importance of strengthening bilateral cooperation in all areas, particularly in the economic and trade sectors.
Furthermore, the Ambassador noted that “his visit would contribute to increasing exchanged visits between Emirati business people and their Algerian counterparts.”
