The Abu Dhabi Department of Culture and Tourism’s retail platform, Retail Abu Dhabi has unveiled plans for the inauguration of Abu Dhabi Beauty Week to celebrate the growing importance of the Emirate in the global beauty industry.
Abu Dhabi Beauty Week intends to become the leading consumer beauty event in the Middle East region. The 11-day consumer beauty event will begin on February 4 and end on 14.
The event involves a diverse schedule of consumer experiences, participation by leading international beauty brands and retailers, and exclusive-to-the-emirate activations at malls in Abu Dhabi and Al Ain.
Several leading global beauty brands including, YSL Beauty, Valentino, Charlotte Tilbury, Lara Mercier, Serge Lutens, Bath & Body Works, and others, have confirmed their participation in the great event. The event specialties will further include new product launches, masterclasses by international celebrities and so on.
“Abu Dhabi Beauty Week is designed to appeal to anyone with a passion for the beauty sector while working to enhance the emirate’s appeal and further boost Abu Dhabi’s diverse retail offerings. We are confident that this new concept is destined to become a regular Retail Abu Dhabi calendar event, which will utilize unique brand activations to create a true celebration of the global beauty sector right here in Abu Dhabi.”
The comprehensive health and safety measures in the event include regular COVID-19 tests for retail sector workers in the Emirate as well as thermal screening at shoppers’ entry points, the implementation of social distance shopping in malls, supermarkets, cafes, and restaurants, and the regular cleaning and disinfection of all participating outlets.
