Abu Dhabi Airports and Groupe ADP, a leading international airport operator based in Paris, have extended their partnership to enhance Advanced Air Mobility (AAM) infrastructure in the emirate.
The initial agreement, signed at the Abu Dhabi Air Expo 2022, emphasized collaborative planning and development. This decision follows extensive stakeholder engagement, feasibility studies, and market assessments conducted by Abu Dhabi Airports with an aim to create a clear roadmap to enhance AAM in the emirate. This also highlights the company’s commitment to enhancing sustainable innovation in the aviation sector.
The representatives from Abu Dhabi Airports’ executive team attended the inaugural ceremony of Groupe ADP’s vertiport in Saint-Cyr Paris, France. The eVTOL (electric vertical take-off and landing) test flight during the 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games was also a major highlight.
