The Emirates Group has renewed agreement with Airbus Beyond to extend ‘Airbus Leadership Programme’ for additional three years, reinforcing the Group’s commitment to Emirati workforce.

The MoU was signed by Amira Al Falasi, Emirates Group’s Senior Vice President, Training & Development; and Adam McGonigal, CEO of Airbus Beyond.

Oliver Grohmann, Emirates Group’s Executive Vice President Human Resources; Ahmed Safa, Head of Engineering and MRO at Emirates and Philippe Fontes, Human Resources Director at Airbus Africa and Middle-East, also attended the signing ceremony.

The new agreement extends Airbus Beyond’s bespoke training modules for the Group’s Emirati talent, equipping them with experiences, exposure and educational programs for future leadership positions.

Over 45 UAE Nationals in three cohorts have so far completed the Airbus Leadership Programme. The program aims to develop the capabilities required to excel in this rapidly changing world, combining industry-knowledge with essential leadership skills.

The leadership program includes two modules with theoretical and practical trainings. Each module spans five days, with the inaugural module taking place in Toulouse, Airbus’s home base. The second module is conducted in Singapore.

Module 1 focuses on cultivating self-awareness and emotional intelligence, raising confidence and nurturing talent for future career paths. Module 2 covers practical training and explores real-world business simulations that further enhance problem-solving and analytical skills.

To foster Emiratization, the Emirates Group offers several programs, ensuring that the UAE National workforce remains agile and well-positioned to support its business goals and vision for the future.

Airbus Beyond, an initiative of Airbus, supports the Group worldwide by forging meaningful connections with key players, such as Airlines, MROs, established and emerging suppliers, startups and aviation authorities.

Through partnerships with prominent aviation academies and top academic institutions, Airbus Beyond also fosters the development of future talent in the aerospace industry.
