Qatar Islamic Bank (QIB), region’s leading digital bank, and Qatar Airways Privilege Club have partnered to enhance new features to benefit the QIB Qatar Airways cardholders of Visa Signature and Visa Platinum Credit Cards.
This new initiative comes as part of QIB’s ongoing commitment to provide exceptional value and service to increase the product value proposition to cardholders.
The new features offered to cardholders include the opportunity to fast-track their Privilege Club tier, collect Qpoints on credit card spends and enjoy additional bonus Avios on their first Qatar Airways flight booked with the co-branded credit cards.
Tier fast track & benefits for new cardholders
- For the new QIB Qatar Airways Co-branded Signature Card: Spend QAR 100,000 ($27,433) in the first 6 months of card issuance and enjoy a fast track to the Gold tier with Qatar Airways Privilege Club.
- For the new QIB Qatar Airways Co-branded Platinum Card: Spend QAR 60,000 ($16,460) in the first 6 months of the card issuance and enjoy a fast-track to the Silver tier with Qatar Airways Privilege Club.
- Cardholders of Signature and Platinum QIB Qatar Airways Co-branded Cards will collect a bonus on completing their first flight with Qatar Airways booked through qatarairways.com or the Qatar Airways mobile app and paid with their card. Cardholders will collect 10,000 bonus Avios in First Class or Business Class, or 5,000 Avios in Economy Class.
- Cardholders can benefit from tier bonus, priority check-in and boarding, extra baggage, free lounge access and much more with Gold or Silver tiers.
Qpoints for new and existing cardholders
- Cardholders will also be able to earn up to 300 Qpoints in a year with their card spends, and continue to enjoy exiting rewards and benefits.
- New or existing QIB Qatar Airways Cobrand Signature Cardholder will collect 1 Qpoint for every 400 Avios earned by the customer on his card spends.
- New or existing QIB Qatar Airways Cobrand Platinum Card will collect 1 Qpoint for every 450 Avios earned by the customer on his card spends.
- Qpoints help in renewing or upgrading your tier with Qatar Airways Privilege Club.
